About the Instructor

Chet Buchman is the Managing Partner of Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, LLC (SJHL), a full-serviced accounting firm with offices in McPherson, Hutchinson, and Wichita, Kansas. Chet entered the accounting profession with KPMG in Kansas City, MO in 2003, he joined SJHL in 2006, was admitted as a partner in 2011, and became managing partner in 2014.  

Chet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from McPherson College, McPherson, Kansas and a Masters’ Degree of Accounting with an Emphasis in Taxation from Kansas State University. He also holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA); Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA); and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Chet uses his specialized training to help fulfill his passion of helping people -- whether it’s clients, community members, or teammates – his focus is on helping them get from where they are . . . to where they want to be.
